Do you need to sign up for Utility Services?

If you need utility services at a new address, please fill out either the Commercial Application or Residential Application. You will find the service applications for utility and the Rules & Regulations below.  You can download the application to fill it out, scan and send it to us with a copy of ownership/lease agreement, and a driver’s license for the applicants.

There is a residential deposit of $150 for electric service connection & 50 for water. You will need to contact us to find out how much any commercial service deposit will be.

What are our electricity rates?

The Page Utility Board holds a rate hearing each year which is open to the public and then recommends rates to be confirmed by the Page City Council.

The current rates effective since 1-1-2024 are:

Residential Service ≤ 200 Amps
Monthly charge $7.50
Energy charge $0.0830/KWh

Residential Service > 200 Amps
Monthly charge $10.20
Energy charge $0.0871/KWh

Commercial Service with Demand Meter
Monthly charge $35.00
Demand charge $5.25/KW/month
Energy charge $0.0874/KWh

Commercial Service without Demand Meter
Monthly charge $19.25
Energy charge $0.0914/KWh

WATER RATE SCHEDULE Effective 4/8/2014

 

0 – 3,000 gallons included in base rate $14.13 base rate

3,000 – 15,000 gallons $2.35 per 1,000 gallons metered

15,001 – 25,000 gallons $2.55 per 1,000 gallons metered

25,001 and up gallons $2.75 per 1,000 gallons metered

 

Standpipe  $2.80 per 1,000 gallons metered

Reuse Water $1.38 per 1,000 gallons metered

Energy Conservation

We all know that it is important to help the environment by conserving energy. But most of us really don’t understand how much it costs to run our appliances in the home. Set out in the table below are estimates of what some typical household appliances cost to run.

These estimates are based on our residential rate of 7.95 cents per kilowatt hour. Your actual cost will depend on the efficiency of your appliances and how often you use them.

Central air conditioner 2500 watts used 180 hours/month $37.35

Clothes dryer 5000 watts used 15 hours/month $6.23

Washing machine 500 watts used 15 hours/month $0.62

Cooktop or Range 1675 watts used 15 hours/month $2.09

Electric Oven 4000 watts used 15 hours/month $4.98

Microwave Oven 1400 watts used 15 hours/month $1.74

Dishwasher 1200 watts used 30 hours/month $2.99

Fridge/Freezer 700 watts used 360 hours/month $20.92
